In a country as highly developed as Singapore, it is no wonder that digital marketer is highly sought-after. While many companies hire people for this position, the salary in general varies a lot depending on one’s experience, with the average number being around $60k annually.

While there is few university offering digital marketing as a major in Singapore, there are a large variety of short-term and online courses that you can choose from. A short-term course typically lasts for 2-3 days and covers the basic understanding and elements of the digital landscape. The course also has a clear structure and participants will be trained by instructors who are the industry’s experts. Equipped with the hands-on training, such courses are useful to learn the basics of digital marketing. Some courses also provide after-training support for the participants.

Another alternative is to enroll in an online marketing course. This option may fit better for people who can’t find a time to attend physical course, as it allows more flexibility in completing the course. There will be minimum commitment time per week and participants can adjust their own pace. A certificate is usually give upon completion.
